Two fun things for today…
Fun thing #1 - I had an email from friend Kali Caramia in Perth, Australia saying woohoo etc. on the website, but also sending me another wonderful George Bernard Shaw quote:
Life is not a brief candle. It is a splendid torch to burn as brightly as possible before handing it on to future generations.
I love that!
Fun thing #2 - I thought it would be great to include ‘learning trax’ information on the site. I am often asked if I do learning trax of my arrangements, and I do not - but others do. It’s a wonderful service and can speed up the learning process for your chorus or quartet. One among them is my friend Kari Metzger. Kari has done learning trax for three of my arrangements: Tangerine, Believe and Where the Heck is Dixie. You can connect with her at kari@metzgers.ca
I think the next time I do an update on the site (well, the next time Brenda Johima does an update on the site!) we will have to create a ‘learning trax info’ page.
Ok - since one can never have too much fun…one more fun thing! Sent to me by my buddy Dave Pinhey. I’m not going to give away the surprise. Just click on the link below, and see for yourself.
HAPPY SPRING!!!!
Click on the link below. You will get a black page. Click your mouse anywhere and everywhere on the page and see what happens! Better yet, click and drag your mouse over the page … Enjoy!!
Hope all y’all have a wonderful time,“burning that torch brightly” today!

What a great “blog”. I too, often wonder about all this new techo stuff. But it is a great way to keep in touch with someone with whom you aren’t able to see very often.
I love the picture with your daughter. I too have an adult daughter who has blessed me with 2 wonderful grandchildren Sheena age 22 and Sean age 20.
Really loved the Dave Pinhey “garden”. I plant containers for a local greenhouse and oh boy!! couldn’t I go to town with that paintbrush (mouse)!!
Let’s keep that “torch” burning.
